The oxy-acetylene cutting torch is definitely one of the most used tools for any metalworker. This video is a real nice all-in-one resource if you want to learn some of the basics in a very clear and easy-to-learn way. Austin Ross has some of the best insider tips and tricks that I've seen online. He's been my go-to for some time now. I really like his industry insider-type videos. They really give you a good rundown of the daily ins and outs of owning a mobile welding rig.
In this video he starts with a brief lesson on the various torch parts, unclogging your torch, and refacing the head of your torch. Then he goes into a bit about gas bottles like where to refill your oxygen and acetylene and safety. Then some pretty important regulator basics like recommended pressures and connections- which is a nice snippet of info for a lot of people.
Anyway, his mastery is crystal clear and you're sure to learn a lot from him. Just watch, you'll see what I mean. Take a look at Austin's wealth of knowledge on his YouTube channel and subscribe to send some love. Thanks for visiting and come back for more on Tools, Tech, and DIY!
