I've only recently discovered instructables.com and I have to say that it's pretty awesome. Ive been bookmarking projects like a madman such as this metal a-frame storage cart. There are loads of DIYers and professionals alike teaching their crafts in many different ways. Here we see diyperspective showing us how to make a super handy switch for your vacuum cleaner with some pretty basic supplies in a very detailed but easy to follow way. You could always adapt the design by maybe using some zip ties instead. It would certainly make your life easier around the shop.
